Who we are
A Stage For Every Story
Star City Academy for the Performing Arts (SCAPA) was founded on the principle of providing a “nurturing and non-competitive environment that encourages creativity, curiosity, and self-expression.” Every single person embodies a unique story, told from a unique perspective, and at SCAPA, we want to hear your story. We offer appropriate opportunities to perform on stage, in various capacities, to every student, regardless of prior experience. We strive to create a safe place for you to explore your craft, to learn more about the performing arts, and to express exactly what makes you you!

I’m passionate about helping young performers unlock their full potential – whether they’re pursuing a professional career in acting, singing, or dancing, just here to have fun, or somewhere in between. I believe theater is a joyful, transformative experience that everyone can enjoy, and I’m here to support your journey every step of the way!
I’m your friendly neighborhood designer, business administrator, and office rockstar – singing, air drumming, smashing air guitars over the copier and stage diving into the water cooler – how anyone keeps the books without impromptu rock concerts is beyond me! At SCAPA, we work hard so we can play even harder, and for me, “that goes double!”
